Since we are still getting settled in our new hometown, we are going to go very simple on the birthday festivities this year. Even though we are pulling back the party reins a little, it doesn't mean that her big day still can't be fabulous.
Both of my little ladies are enjoying the fact that we finally have a backyard....and chickens! (you may have seen our hens Luella Sweetheart & Carmella photo bomb a couple of my Instagram pics). With these two things being at the top of their "favorites" list, I am going to try to incorporate them into a sweet little backyard bash. Since I am originally from Eugene, Oregon, I have a HUGE inner hippie. Anytime I can plan something a little on the Boho side, I am going to do it.......enter our theme, A Boho Backyard Picnic!
Here are a couple of things that are inspiring my party planning process!
1. rustic & colorful table setting with pillow seating | 2. lots of handmade paper flowers
3. A teepee is a MUST | 4. a simple cake, bright tall candles & pink milk glass
