Everything is better with balloons, tassels and pretty ribbon.........even Valentine's Day!

We have come up with a quick & easy project that you can do with your little people using some of our favorite things from around the shop. And seriously, how cute would these be for class Valentines? I think I know what I will be making 20 of in the coming weeks.

Here are the supplies you will need to make these super cute balloon lollies:

2. something shiny like tinsel or mylar strips
4. handmade tissue tassels
5. a variety of pretty ribbon
6. balloon stick (not pictured)
7. hot glue gun (not pictured)

These are really simple make.

For the ribbon lollies, all you need to do is cut strips of ribbon in varying lengths & glue them to the inside of the balloon stick cupler

For the tassel lollies, make a bunch of handmade tassels and then tie your garland to the knotted part of the balloon before attaching the balloon to the cupler & stick. We have a really great tassel tutorial you can check out by clicking here

Another fun & simple garland is this one we made using baker's twine and mini honeycomb balls. We cut ours into little hearts to be extra festive! Just be sure to leave enough twine at the end so you can tie the garland to the knotted part of your balloon.
