Here is what you are going to need to make these tasty little peepsicles

- sprinkles

- chocolate

- plate or cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Start off by melting your chocolate. We used about 8 ounces of milk chocolate for our pops. If you are going to use a block of chocolate like we did, you are going to need to chop it up. A serrated knife is a great choice for chopping up chocolate. Otherwise, chocolate chips will work just fine. I recommend that you melt your chocolate over a double boiler. This will keep you from burning your chocolate. To make a double boiler, place a metal bowl into a saucepan filled with water. The water should just barely touch the bottom of the bowl. Turn the burner to medium-medium high heat.

Stir your chocolate periodically to make sure that all the pieces have melted down.

If you are recruiting help from little people, I suggest that you remove the bowl of melted chocolate from the heat and place on the counter. If you notice your chocolate starting to thicken or harden, just place the bowl back on top of the saucepan/simmer water and melt it back down.

Next create an assembly line so you can easily hop from chocolate to sprinkles.

Dunk your peep into your melted chocolate & let the excess chocolate drip off.

Remove the remaining excess chocolate by scrapping the bottom of the peep along the side of the bowl.
Now dunk in your favorite combination of sprinkles!

Place your completed peeps on a cookie sheet or plate lined with parchment paper.
Once you have coated all your peeps or you have a plate full, stick them in the freezer to harden.

Once the chocolate has hardened, remove from freezer & place a treat stick in it.

Enjoy!!!
