Last weekend, my little brunette turned 3. Since we are still getting settled here in San Antonio, we decided to keep the birthday festivities really simple this year. I made a bunch of tissue paper flowers, a batch of her favorite cupcakes & put up the teepee. The girls spent the afternoon running around the backyard giggling and blowing on noisemakers. Even though it was just our little family of four, it was a really perfect & sweet afternoon spent in the sunshine.

Thank you, Lisa! The flowers naturally arced because the trees are pruned in that shape. I just looped floral wire through the center of each flower & wrapped wire around branches. I did have to use mini clothes pin to keep a couple of the flowers from facing the ground. For those, I simply took a petal from the last/back layer of the flower and pinned them to leaves. The whole thing was a "figure it out as you go" kind of process LOL. xo
